UGH. I'm REALLLLYYYY disappointed on how this came out.

I got SUPER lazy with the background.
I'm going to try and start drawing my own :/

despite how you may feel about the piece, I think it turned out pretty nice, and it doesn't really look worse than your other stuff (please dont take that the wrong way, I think you might have just built this present up so much in your head that you're only seeing your disappointment and not how the piece actually looks)

but I really want to comment on the eyes. They look lovely, how you shaded them and the little hilight, and how her eyelashes and tearducts are connected in one shape. good work!
